Using 7 platinum-coated titanium plates, it adjusts pH between 3.0 and 10.5 and produces ORP down to −800mV — meaning antioxidant-rich, hydrogen-enhanced drinking water. It also includes multi-stage internal filtration, mineral support, and smart MICOM controls.

  • Yes — this is one of the IonPlus's key strengths. Its internal multi-stage cartridge includes mineral enhancement media that adds calcium, magnesium, and trace minerals to your water before ionization begins. This means the IonPlus covers both the Restore stage (mineral replenishment) and the Activate stage (electrolysis ionization) in a single underbench unit. No separate mineral alkalizer is needed.

  • Town Supply for municipal water connections. Rural Supply for bore, rainwater tanks, or unregulated sources with high sediment. UV System for homes needing biological protection — bacteria, giardia, cryptosporidium — in addition to chemical filtration. UV is especially recommended for rural and tank water.

  • No — the IonPlus is best suited to already-clean water (like the output of your LifeSpring whole house system). It is not designed for full-spectrum contaminant removal and doesn't address fluoride, nitrate, or PFAS on its own. That's why pairing it with the LifeSpring system and appropriate underbench add-ons gives you the most complete protection.

  • Whole house cartridges last 6–18 months depending on water quality and usage. UV lamps replace annually — the LCD countdown tells you exactly when. IonPlus has built-in filter life monitoring and will alert you when its internal filter (including the mineral stage) needs replacing. Ultra Filter lasts approximately 1.5 years.

  • Yes — all underbench add-ons including the IonPlus are independent units installed beneath your kitchen sink and can be added at any time after your whole house system is installed. Contact Ionza or your certified dealer to arrange later additions to your system.
